Hey America... do you want to get insight into why African-American women are sometimes extremely touchy about their appearance? Here is the perfect example of how one little black girl is having her soul picked at by the very people who should be protecting her and building up her right to be... HERSELF!
And, much to the horror of this black person, this is the kind of story that is VERY common across racist America. There is not a black woman living today who would lie and tell the public that she has not faced some type of racist caveat with other people reacting to her hair in some way.
I don't believe she exists!
Anyway, I'm sure black women will write me and tell me I'm wrong. And then, I will have to offer an apology. But, until then... here is a sad example of a little girl who has to take all kinds of shit from bullies her age and take all kinds of shit from the adults who should be protecting her -- all because she has the hair of a BLACK girl!
