TEACHERS SHOULD RULE AMERICA
My son just graduated from James Madison University with a Masters in Elementary Education. We live in Virginia... and if he had told me he wanted to go to Arizona to teach I would have shown him all the literature I could find about how unfriendly the Arizona government is toward its teachers. Jan Brewer has been, basically, at war with the state’s teachers... and she, as usual, is as crazy about that as she is about anything else.
Also, the conservative crazy school board of Arizona is so backward that they actually propose to tear out pages from textbooks that discuss sex and others forms or religion other than Christianity.
Who in their right mind wants to continue teaching in a state that treats its teachers like whipping slaves!
And my son is BLACK, so you KNOW I would never allow him to go to Arizona to teach... even though he is a 23 year old young man now.
Arizona... the most racist horrid state in America, behind North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Florida!
I feel sorry for the teachers in Arizona, but more sorrow for the children there who cannot possibly be getting the positive good education they are suppose to be getting under the oppression of conservative backwoods snake-handling, Caucasian, ignorance in the form of bible thumping dogma!
It is just plain sad!
